Ranger Scrolls
There's something about the new team. I knew they were special from the start. I could feel it. I could feel my friends presence in them. I know, it's wierd. But I almost felt as though I belonged to this group.
But I know I don't. I'm too different from them. Hey, I'm thousands of years old. I only watch. With no interaction what-so-ever. That's the way it's always been, always will be. Ever since... well I'll just tell the story of the first encounter when the time comes.
Now I suppose you're wondering who I am. Gabrielle is my name. I wrote the Xena Scrolls. And hid them. Now they've been found, and Xena is receiving the glory she deserves as a hero. I hope the same thing happens with these Ranger scrolls. One day they will be found.
I guess the next question is how am I here. I'm an immortal. Like Duncan from Highlander. Only beheading's don't do it for me. I was made immortal to watch the rangers and record what goes on in their lives, like I did with Xena. So I do. I'm always around, although the rangers don't know it.
Think of me as a watcher. Not like a slayer watcher. No, I'm different from that. More like the guy who does the watching in Highlander. Yeah, that's a good decription.
Anyway, for anyone who reads this, here are my Ranger Scrolls, beginning with the team who's presence reminded me of my friends. It all started with the arrival of Carri Hillard.....
